Yuh vs. Revolut – Quick Comparison ⚡️

Revolut VS. Yuh

Yuh vs Revolut

Yuh manages CHF, EUR, and USD in a single app, with a free card and an integrated investment module.
However, it doesn’t provide a personal IBAN in EUR, doesn’t support LSV, and TWINT requires a separate app.
Revolut facilitates foreign currency payments: EUR IBAN, active multi-currency, free withdrawals up to a certain threshold, and a card usable everywhere. On the other hand, it lacks a CH IBAN, TWINT, and any compatibility with Swiss banking tools.

To be preferred if…

  • You live in Switzerland and are looking for a simple solution to pay, invest, and manage several common currencies: Yuh (read Yuh review and test)
  • You travel often or regularly pay in other currencies beyond Europe: Revolut

To avoid if…

  • You need a CH IBAN for your income or expenses in Switzerland
  • You use TWINT or direct debits
  • You’re looking for a solution compatible with all Swiss banking tools
16

Neon vs. Revolut – Quick Comparison ⚡️

Revolut VS. Neon

Neon vs Revolut

Neon offers a free CHF account with a card that has no fees on foreign currency payments and access to investment from the app. But it only manages CHF, without EUR IBAN, without multi-currency account, and without integrated TWINT.
Revolut better covers international usage: EUR IBAN, management of several currencies, multi-currency card, and transfers abroad. But it remains unusable for receiving a Swiss salary, paying QR bills, or using TWINT.

To be preferred if…

  • You live in Switzerland and want a simple, free account with quick access to investment: Neon (read Neon review and test)
  • You travel frequently or often pay in foreign currencies without wanting to pay fees: Revolut

To avoid if…

  • You need a CH IBAN or a link with local banking tools
  • You use TWINT, eBill, or LSV daily
  • You’re looking for a single app to centralize everything
17

N26 VS. Revolut – Quick Comparison ⚡️

Revolut VS. N26

Revolut takes the lead as soon as you go beyond the euro framework: balance in several currencies, direct exchange rate without margin, fast international transfers, and a card usable in almost all situations. But the absence of CH IBAN, TWINT, or compatibility with Swiss payments (QR, LSV) makes the app difficult to use as a main account in Switzerland.

N26 remains more readable for EUR uses. The personal IBAN is useful for receiving a European salary, the app is smooth, and the whole works well for payments in the SEPA zone. In return, there’s no multi-currency management, no optimization for withdrawals, and no gateway with the Swiss banking ecosystem.

To be preferred if…

  • You often travel outside the euro zone or regularly pay in several currencies: Revolut
  • You stay in the SEPA zone with mostly EUR usage: N26 (read N26 review and test)

To avoid if…

  • You live in Switzerland or need a CH IBAN to receive or pay locally
  • You use TWINT, eBill, or direct debits in CHF
  • You’re looking for an app compatible with everyday Swiss payments

Revolut vs. Wise – Quick Comparison ⚡️

Revolut VS. Wise

Wise functions as a clear tool for converting or sending money in foreign currencies. The applied rate is always visible before validation and fees are transparent. There’s no package to manage or monthly threshold to monitor.

Revolut offers more functions around payments. You can store more currencies, send money to more countries, and access additional services if you choose a paid plan. In exchange, you need to follow tier limits and understand the conditions related to certain operations such as withdrawals or conversions on weekends.

For occasional use or focused on currency conversions, Wise remains simpler. For broader use with additional tools around international payments, Revolut is more versatile but requires a bit more monitoring.

Neither Wise nor Revolut allow the use of TWINT or manage classic Swiss banking tools.

To be preferred if…

  • you want to convert or send currencies with net fees and without restrictions: Wise (read Wise review and test)
  • you’re looking for a comprehensive multi-currency app with extended features: Revolut

To avoid if…

  • you’re looking for a solution compatible with Swiss payments
  • you want to avoid limits and conditions based on the chosen plan
  • you use TWINT or need to receive a salary on a CH IBAN
